A Grand Transformation in the Medina

The story of Palais Aix Kabaj & Spa begins with a vision to breathe new life into a magnificent piece of Marrakech's architectural heritage. Originally a grand private residence nestled within the historic Medina, our property has undergone a meticulous and loving transformation.


This extensive renovation, completed in 2019, was executed with an unwavering commitment to preserving the authentic spirit and traditional design of a Moroccan riad, while seamlessly integrating the luxurious comforts and modern amenities expected of a four-star hotel.


Every archway, tile, and courtyard was carefully restored or recreated by skilled local artisans, ensuring that the essence of Moroccan artistry and history resonates throughout every corner of our establishment.
